  • Virgin Atlantic to launch Instagram TV series, with the airline’s highly skilled experts taking a new role of “teacher” this Easter break
  • A new video to launch at 1:30pm on Instagram TV each day, showcasing intriguing behind-the-scenes facts and information, ranging from aerodynamics and aircraft design, to turbulence and flight paths  
  • Followers and budding aviation enthusiasts will have the chance to submit the questions they’ve always wanted answering, with the chance of it being covered off by an aviation expert the following day

Next week, Virgin Atlantic will launch its own virtual “flight school”, a short series of daily videos delving into the lesser known facts and secrets of the aviation industry. On Tuesday (14th April), the first of the videos will go live, fronted by one of Virgin Atlantic’s pilots.

Keeping children entertained at home during this time of crisis can be challenging for parents, so access to the airline’s experts offers both parents and the younger members of the family a fun learning activity to do together.

Hosted on Instagram TV, videos will launch at 1pm each day and feature a special guest to answer the questions the aviation enthusiasts in your house have always wanted to ask. From selecting flight paths to designing award-winning airline seats, from medical training to finding out why turbulence happens – Virgin Atlantic’s pilots, cabin crew, engineers and aircraft designers will feature daily to reveal all. For those wanting their own questions answered, the airline is offering up the chance 24 hours before each video goes live for followers to submit their own questions by heading over to its Instagram stories at @VirginAtlantic.
