High Five, the new Flying Club initiative recognising long-term loyalty, is now live. With flight tracking backdated to 1 January 2021, tens of thousands of eligible Flying Club members who have flown with Virgin Atlantic across five different years will receive their reward today. Eligible members will receive 12,000 Virgin Points, while Red Tier members will also earn 10% bonus points on all future flights.
As a real-world example, a return Saver Reward Seat from London to New York starts from 12,000 Virgin Points in Economy and 16,500 in Premium*. Members with household accounts can also pool multiple 12,000-point rewards earned within the same year*. Customers can continue to save their points for meaningful rewards as Virgin Points never expire and can be spent across Virgin Atlantic, Delta Air Lines and other partners across the Virgin Red family.
Rewards will be automatically credited to eligible members’ Flying Club accounts, while members will soon be able to track their progress towards their next High Five reward in the Virgin Atlantic app.
Unveiled in November 2025, High Five builds on a series of Flying Club innovations designed to make loyalty more rewarding, including reward flights counting towards status, non-expiring points, and Unlimited Availability of reward seats.
Anthony Woodman, Vice President, Flying Club & CRM, Virgin Atlantic, said:
“Not everyone flies every month, but many of our customers come back to Virgin Atlantic year after year – and that commitment deserves to be rewarded. High Five is our way of recognising that loyalty isn’t one-size-fits-all and giving something back to customers who make Virgin Atlantic their airline of choice over time.”
