Virgin Atlantic has announced two senior appointments within its Agency Sales team, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to its trade partners and supporting future growth across the leisure, groups and MICE sectors.
The appointments reflect Virgin Atlantic’s continued investment in its sales organisation, bringing together experienced leaders to strengthen relationships with travel partners and unlock new commercial opportunities.
As part of a new Agency Sales structure, Nicki Goldsmith, Director of Global Agency Sales, also expands her remit to include Groups and MICE alongside Leisure and TMC, reflecting the strategic importance of these markets as Virgin Atlantic enters 2027.
Nick Johnson appointed Groups & MICE Lead
Nick Johnson has been appointed Groups & MICE Lead, bringing the Groups and Specialist teams together under a single leadership structure. Nick brings 19 years of experience at Virgin Atlantic, having held roles across Agency Sales, Loyalty and Crew Training.
The appointment reflects Virgin Atlantic's ambition to accelerate growth across its Groups and MICE business, an increasingly important part of the airline’s growth strategy moving into 2027. The new structure strengthens Virgin Atlantic’s specialist offering, creates greater alignment across these customer segments and unlocks new commercial opportunities.
Beth Daniels appointed Senior Account Manager – Leisure Sales
Beth Daniels has been appointed Senior Account Manager – Leisure Sales. Beth brings almost 10 years’ experience at Virgin Atlantic, having held roles across indirect sales, agency sales and group sales. Most recently, she played a key role in the launch of Sky High Crew, helping to strengthen engagement with the travel trade.
In this role, Beth will continue her work driving revenue growth through the touring and adventure sector, while supporting Virgin Atlantic’s wider leisure growth ambitions.
