The Virgin Atlantic Foundation, a UK registered charity, was set up in 2003 and was created to support the welfare of children and young people through funds raised through our community investment programme.
Since 2010 we have worked almost exclusively with WE, an amazing partnership that has inspired Virgin Atlantic employees, partners and customers to raise millions of pounds for projects in the UK and in our worldwide destinations. We have recently committed to support WE for another five years, so are not looking for any new charity partnership opportunities at this time.
We’re able to donate a small number of free of fare economy flights to Virgin Atlantic destinations for children and young people (aged 2-21) requiring life-saving or life-changing medical assistance.
We are also sometimes able to offer auction/raffle prizes for charity fundraising. These must be registered children’s charities, working in the UK or in Virgin Atlantic’s destinations, which focus their efforts on:

However, we receive thousands of requests each month and it takes time to thoroughly review and assess them, so please be patient if this takes a little longer than expected.
